Come train with the 23x National Champions! The “Minnesota Made” Fall Training Clinic features master teachers that are all alumni of the University of Minnesota Dance Team! The training clinic is designed for advanced dancers – with modifications available for intermediate dancers. The day includes 4 hours of instruction, and a Minnesota Dance Team t-shirt for all athletes. Classes will consist of multiple styles and technical instruction.

Join the 23x National Champion University of Minnesota Dance Team for a middle school specific event. This is an ADVANCED level clinic. 

Dancers will be instructed by the current UMDT team and coaches, Work on skills, learn combos in jazz, pom, and lyrical, and hear more about what it takes to be a member of a collegiate dance team.

Recommended skills to attend ADVANCED level intensive: triple/quadruple pirouettes, a la second turns with varying speed and direction change, jump sequences with connection of skills.

Come dance with the 22x National Champions! The Technique Clinic is designed for dancers in 7th grade and older. There will be two different sessions offered – for Intermediate Dancers, and for Advanced / Elite Dancers. The intermediate session focuses on technique drills for pirouettes and a la seconds, as well as leaps and jumps. The advanced/elite session focuses on variations of turn speed, spots, and arm/leg placement, as well as unique connection and entry/exit of skills.

Come dance with the 22x National Champions! The Kid’s Clinic is designed for dancers in Preschool – 6th grade. No dance experience required. Portions of the clinic will be broken out by age.

Session 1: Pre-K - 3rd Grade

Session 2: 4th - 6th Grade

The College Prep Spring Clinic is designed for advanced dancers – with modifications available for intermediate dancers. The day includes 4 hours of instruction, and a Minnesota Dance Team t-shirt for all athletes. Classes will consist of Jazz, Lyrical, and Pom styles (poms are not required).

In addition to the Prep Clinic, high school graduating classes of 2026 and 2027 are invited to sign up for the Recruitment Showcase. This event takes place after the Prep Clinic, and gives dancers a chance to work in a smaller setting with the team and coaching staff. The Recruitment Showcase is geared towards ELITE level dancers. Dancers MUST attend the Prep Clinic to attend the Recruitment Showcase.

Come dance with the 22x National Champion University of Minnesota Dance Team, and perform on the field at Huntington Bank Stadium!

Dancers will have the opportunity to learn a routine from UMDT, then perform it on the field as the kick off to the Fall Performance Show. There may even be an opportunity to meet Goldy Gopher!

Open to dancers in Kindergarten-6th grade for the 2024-2025 school year. No dance experience required.

• 8:30-9:30 Registration

• 9:30-11:30 Kid’s Clinic

• 12:00-2:00 Fall Performance Show

  • Kid’s Clinic Performance will be the first routine of the Fall Performance Show! Dancers are able to stay and watch with their parent/guardian or leave after the performance.

Registration price includes a Minnesota Dance Team t-shirt and ONE ADMISSION TICKET for a parent/guardian to the Fall Performance Show. Additional tickets for the Fall Performance Show can be purchased.

Two sessions will be offered, with the same material being taught in each session. Space is limited! 100 athletes per session.
